![]() Quick Note is a sticky note app for Mac that is accessible with one click or a keyboard shortcut. However, the app has a paid version named Antnotes that costs $2.99 and brings additional features such as the capability to attach notes to any applications, so they will be shown when the app is activated. ![]() It’s available on the Mac App Store for free. You can turn off the other two tools to use it as a standalone Notes app. Unclutter combines three functionalities note-taking, clipboard, and file management. Although not primarily a sticky note app, Unclutter serves this purpose as well. Onenote is in a file on the onedrive but I don't see the sticky file. The one-time subscription cost is 11.79 for one Mac. This file is named StickiesDatabase, and it's located in the Library folder of your home directory. Simple Antnotes is a great app except that it doesn’t work in full-screen. I I use extensive onenote and sticky notes. As I wrote about in an earlier article on How to save Mac Stickies, Mac Stickies (sticky notes) are saved in one database file. You can also create a new note by dragging text and files to the Simple Antnotes menu bar or “Dock” icon. Chose “Services” from the context menu and select “Add to Simple Antnotes” to create a new sticky note with the selected text. To utilize the integration, select text in any application and right-click on it. Simple Antnotes comes integrated with macOS’ “Services”. If you have uninstalled Sticky Notes mistakenly or the Sticky Notes program is just missing on Windows 10, you can try re-installing the app from the Microsoft Store. If required, it’s possible to change the background color of your notes, as well as customize the font and text color. What’s more, users can opt to make their sticky notes translucent if they prefer.
